Introduction

Setting up a better world

A service of quality to the Citizen and to the Business requires a healthy and modern management of the civil servant who renders this service. e-HR represents the means of reaching a still improved service level. For this reason, the investment which it represents is strategic.

This is why the directorate general e-HR has received the mission of providing the various organizations making up the federal civil service with modern, consistent and efficient tools and processes for the (daily and strategic) management of the civil servants.

Statistics of the federal personnel

The authorities – as well as the businesses or the citizens – must respond more quickly to the new trends of the society.

They must be able to answer more often and in a precise way for the management which they have implemented.

They must be able to quickly extract from the available data all the relevant information which they need.

They must communicate the real data in all readability to all the actors concerned: members of Parliament, trade unions, citizens, universities, press, …

For these purposes, the Pdata application :

  • organizes periodic collections of useful information – under a standardized structure – relating to the 85.000 members of personnel of the 70 federal public organisms (FPS, PPS, Scientific Establishments and Public Interest Organisms);
  • produces the statistical reporting about personnel matters (ie. : number of workers per service, classified according to sex, age, language, status, level, family of functions, …);
  • makes the achieved statistics available to the visitors of this site.
